Hail fellow, well met! How frustrating for you to have your favorite version be an aud. I don't even want to listen to it, in case I feel likewise. That miscellaneous collection is available as a torrent at lossless legs: http://www.shnflac.net/details.php?id=b2dd84aa610b8b52bd95820dfd09598d3d909bbe The torrent text includes an analysis of time periods from which each bit might have come, based on lyrics and performance minutiae. There are no seeders at the moment, but their request reseed mechanism really works. I do remember liking the version on disc 1, is it? I'm really bad at remembering the versions I like best, since I like them all so much, but I'll also put in a plug for the version from 3-17-68 on volume 6 of the download series. It has a gemutlich quality that I've thought might come from its having been tapped for part of the version on Anthem of the Sun, though I've never compared closely to check.

Just listened to the Caboose from 3/17/68 on my Ipod while taking my dog for a long walk. Definitely one of the best versions Cliff has heard! Vol. #6 is Cliffs favorite of the Deads Download Series...

You should check out the 3/29/68 Caboose, if Cliff can handle this Aud, anyone can...

In the friendliest and most supportive way possible, I ask: Does Cliff also prefer to be referred to by others in the third, rather than second, person?

That really IS quite good, and worth holding off 1973 for 10 minutes...
